Reception and KS1 Author Visit

We are pleased to advise that children’s author, Chitra Soundar, visited our Year 1/2 classes on Thursday 5 th April.

She led the children in an interactive workshop, using her books ‘Nikhil and Jay Save the Day’ and ‘Nikhil and Jay The Star Birthday’ as inspiration for storytelling and creating the children’s own stories.

Chitra is an Indian-born British writer, storyteller and author of children’s books, based in London. She has published over 30 books for children worldwide. Many of her books are set in India or inspired by her culture, traditions and epics.
