Ramadan - updated April 2021

Dear St. Luke's Families,

We are now in the month of Ramadan and we would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you, who may be fasting, safe passage during this holy month as you participate in sawm and spend time on spiritual reflection and self-improvement.

Some of our older children, may wish to fast and whilst we are keen to support this, we want to ensure that children are well and able to manage the demands of a full school day. Please email the Office to let us know if your child is fasting or will be fasting on some days.

We would ask that all children still come to school with a bottle of water and small snack, just in case they feel tired, dizzy or unwell during the day. The weather is getting warmer and fasting may be harder on school days. Quiet shaded spaces are available in and around school, in line with bubble restrictions, as needed.

On behalf of the school community, may I wish you and your family a peaceful and blessed month and a very happy Eid-ul-Fitr when the moon appears later in May.

Kind regards,

Ms Butler
