Returning to school during COVID-19 (1st Sept 2020)

ALL ADULTS TO WEAR MASKS ON SITE PLEASE - NO ACCESS FROM 7TH WITHOUT A MASK

Dear St. Luke's Families,

Thank you for your support and understanding so far during this unusual time, we are starting back tomorrow and look forward to welcoming our children back for a transition days.

From 7th September, children in years 1-6 will be returning full time.

Children and staff will be in phase bubbles to support our delivery of a full curriculum. To promote this positively, all children stay in their 'bubbles' when in school and will refrain from mixing with children outside of their 'bubble.' Children will have their lunch and breaks separately in their 'bubbles' and are encouraged to wash their hands regularly. All plastic equipment and items are wiped down and or washed regularly to reduce risks.

As advised, due to the ages of the children returning we cannot guarantee distancing but will do our best to support you and your child/ren during this time. If you are unsure or have questions then please read the full guidance that can be found on the DfE website.

As per government guidance, all children will be expected to be in school from September onwards.

** please see additional information that has been sent regarding start dates and end times.

Once again I would like to thank you for your understanding and support so far, this is new for all of us and we aim to keep you up to date as we move forward together.

Kind regards,

Amanda Butler
Headteacher
