Nursery Intake

St Luke’s Nursery has three admission points during the school year:

  • September
  • January
  • After Easter

Children are eligible to join the Nursery in the term following their third birthday.

Please ensure applications are submitted to the school office, or sent via email, in plenty of time. Stay and Play sessions and home visits take place during the term before your child starts Nursery to support a smooth transition.

Children are normally admitted at the beginning of the academic year after turning three years old. For example, children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 will join Nursery in September 2026.

Nursery Places and Sessions

Children may attend for either:

  • 15 hours per week (universal entitlement), or
  • 30 hours per week (subject to eligibility for working families).
