Sports Champions

At St. Luke's, we have a system in place to recognise and reward children who demonstrate good sportsmanship on the playground and actively support their peers in other year groups during playtime. These children are nominated by our staff based on their ability to foster friendship, engage in play with others, lead games, and encourage participation among their peers. We believe that these qualities contribute to making playtime more enjoyable for everyone.

To acknowledge these positive behaviours, we present certificates to the selected children during our Friday's Celebration Assembly. This public recognition serves as a way to commend their efforts and encourage other students to follow their example. By highlighting and celebrating these acts of kindness and inclusivity, we aim to foster a positive and supportive school culture where all students feel valued and included.

This initiative not only promotes good sportsmanship and positive social interactions but also contributes to the overall well-being and happiness of our students.
